The VersaCard
was developed by VersaPay Corporation to enable quick
and efficient electronic payments in a supply-chain
environment. A typical example would be a restaurant that
must fulfill it's inventory purchase from their distributor
or supplier - rather than settle payment with a purchase
order, carrying a letter of credit/guarantee or using
cash or cheque, now can use their own credit card,
debit card or their business banking account to fund
the VersaCard and ultimately settle same day, same
as cash, with their distributor or supplier! |
Why Use The VersaCard?
Some distributors or suppliers must receive payment for goods
prior to releasing those goods to customers. Regulated environments,
for example, require purchases for alcohol or tobacco products
to be pre-paid or guarantee payment prior to release. This
can slow the delivery process, make account reconciliation
and settlement a headache and is extremely costly and
time consuming.
By using the VersaCard, the customer can make their purchases
instantly and have them released the same day. Add to that
